Very nice owners, delicious food and very moderate prices! Just as you would imagine it to be apart from mass tourism in Bavaria!

By far the most unfriendly host you can imagine. and that for the second time within a few years - nothing has changed. I absolutely cannot understand the positive comments. a few kilometers further into the Längental there is a very friendly alternative.

We were very satisfied all round, the landlords were friendly, the food was delicious and very satisfied with the price. I can only recommend the path perfect for children and dogs

On the way to Benediktenwand I ate a very tasty potato soup, served by a nice gentleman. I am happy to come back.

The landlady was very nice and the food (Kaiserschmarrn) was delicious. In any case, the "hut" invites you to sit. I can't understand why anyone complains when they drive there by car. Only those who work there or deliver what should drive. Price stop ..... Absolutely to suggest!

Very nice landlord. Food: home-made food of the best quality. Depending on the season, salads are refined with flowers and herbs picked by yourself.

Quaint hut operated by a nice couple of pensioners. Delicious cheese spaetzle and very good Kaiserschmarrn. Sufficiently large portions.

Wonderful to sit outside. Inside should not be too much space. Hutten usual prices. The homemade cake looked good. Just was not hungry. The climb over the forestry path quite steep. Ideal as a destination

Delicious eaten, cozy simple rooms and nice hosts

Nice climb, nice hut, unfortunately by far the second most unfriendly hut host we have ever experienced. Too bad, we definitely won't stop here ... Our tip: Just continue walking for 10 minutes and stop at the rear Längentalalm (May to mid-October). Nice landlords and totally rustic and cozy, the scenery is great. The descent is via the Jägersteig anyway and begins shortly before the Längentalalm.

Cozy and not so many tourists

An older couple who are very direct and happy to be grumpy. They may find it funny, but some people get it wrong. A gentleman asked about napkins! In response he got to hear: “Hamma ned !! Have you ever heard of waste saving? " When I ordered a coffee with milk and sugar, I heard "you can have one, but what you put in is your problem!" For food: best to order Wiener, you can't go wrong with that! As you walked by you could hear people talking "the boletus were good." Käsespätzle and Kaiserschmarren are definitely not recommended. If you have a bit of understanding and humor for grumpy Bavarians, then you are in good hands here despite the bad reviews :-)

Nice there, but shady. Food OK. Soup was cold. But the hosts are trying ...

Very unfriendly and null hospitable. If you arrive in the pouring rain with 3 toddlers and be stupidly turned on, because (since the rain became strong halfway) comes by car ...

Very delicious food, which the landlady cooks herself! And a sunny spot on the terrace .. 😁, what more could you ask for? ☀️😎🤩
